Barclay Daranyi's parents went back-to-the-land in the late sixties. Motivated by a concern for the earth and in search of simpler lifestyle, they moved to an old dairy farm in Western Massachusetts. The granola was originally her Dad’s recipe. His love for the earth and for good food, was the inspiration for her grown-up version.
Not much has changed except the location. Indian Ridge Farm and Bakery's commitment to the soil, the environment and their community is added to every batch. The spirit of the movement remains the same.
